Lesson Idea 1. Talking Shapes – Have students demonstrate their knowledge of 2D shapes or 3D objects by making the shape explain its properties.
Lesson Idea 2. Persuasive fruits – After reading ‘I Will Never, NOT Ever, Eat a Tomato‘, students selected their favourite fruit or vegetable and wrote a persuasive speech from the point of view of the fruit or vegetable. Some talks went longer than 30 seconds so we used iMovie to stitch the videos together.
